Junior Trip Part II: Barcelona, Spain + Provence, France

Here is the second, and last part, of my school trip. I don't have enough words to describe the beauty of the Provençal lavender fields: purple rows that blended into the endless blue sky. The calanques in Cassis had surfaces that resembled that of mirrors. When you jumped into the Mediterranean, the salt shot you back up to the surface and you floated easily in the crystal water.

Barcelona vibrated from the young and colorful energy, and the Sagrada Familia did too. Its marble forest was illuminated by the blue and green stained glass windows on one side, and the red and orange windows on the other. There was graffiti in the streets that looked more like art than tags. Gaudi's architecture twisted itself around buildings and the mosaics danced on the walls.

And I couldn't stop smiling, my eyes shining.
