It's pretty sneaky to wear a bandeau under my cardigan. You think I'm wearing a cool shirt but I'm not. It's way to hot for layers. Doing my hair was surprisingly quick and easy. I put it up in a ponytail and braided it. I then simply wrapped it up into a bun and used two bobby pins for fly aways. (Miki and I updated profile photos for the blog. There are two versions: a more adult one here and a... how should we put it here)

C'est assez futé de porter un bandeau sous mon cardigan. Vous pensez que je porte un joli haut, mais non. Il fait trop chaud pour porter plusieurs épaisseurs. Faire cette coiffure était assez facile et rapide. Je me suis faite une queue de cheval que j'ai ensuite tressée. Ensuite, j'ai simplement tortiller mes cheveux en chignon et j'ai utilisé deux épingles à cheveux pour mettre en place quelques petites mèches. (Miki et moi avons changé la photo de profile pour le blog. Il y a deux version: une plus adulte ici et une autre... comment dire ici)

We took the pictures quickly because there were storms throughout the day. Little fun story about me: I had a stupid revelation a while back that you don't need to only wear t-shirts with shorts. You can wear whatever length sleeve you want. The 10 year old self I was back then thought I was the smartest kid on the block! (^.^) I now wear whatever, whenever, however I want. The End.

On a pris ces photos rapidement parce qu'il y avait des orages toute la journée. Petite histoire rigolote sur moi: j'ai eu une révélation assez stupide il y a longtemps: on n'a pas toujours besoin de porter un t-shirt avec un short. On peut porter la longueur de manche qu'on veut. La petite fille de 10 ans que j'étais pensais que j'étais la plus intelligente de ma rue. (^.^) Je porte maintenant ce que je veux, quand je veux et comme je veux. Fin.

This look it perfect when the weather is sticky and humid. A lot of Brandy Melville shirts are loose and cut. I never really know when to wear those kind of shirts and how to wear them. It felt great today to have a little breeze puffing up my shirt.
Ce look est parfait quand il fait lourd et humide. Beaucoup de hauts de la marque Brandy Melville sont amples et comme découpés aux ciseaux. Je ne sais jamais vraiment comment et quand les porter. C'était très agréable aujourd'hui de sentir la brise gonfler mon haut.

I have nothing much to say except for "sequins". Yes, there are sequins everywhere when I walk: sequins on my shirt, sequins reflecting patterns of light onto my white walls, sequins, more sequins and so many more sequins. Aaah!

Je n'ai pas grand-chose à dire à part "sequins". Oui, il y a des sequins partout quand je marche: des sequins sur mon haut, des sequins qui reflètent de la lumière sur mes murs blancs, des sequins, encore des sequins et toujours des sequins. Aaah!

*Shhhh, I wore this dress to school.*

I am not allowed to wear it at school because it violates the "two-inch straps" rule. It's a spaghetti strap dress, but you can take the straps off to turn it into a strapless dress. I love the provençal fabric. It's perfect for summer, light and colorful.

*Shhhh, j'ai porté cette robe à l'école.*

Je n'ai pas le droit de la porter à l'école car elle est contre les règles de l'établissement; nous n'avons pas le droit de porter des vêtements avec des brettelles de moins de deux pouces de large. Cette robe est à bretelles spaghetti, mais on peut aussi les enlever pour la rendre sans bretelles. J'adore le tissu provençal. Elle est parfaite pour l'été, légère et colorée.
