Lazy Sunday

Take the time to do nothing, or next to nothing. Spend a Sunday morning in your pyjamas. Make yourself a hearty breakfast and drink a cup of espresso. Sip tea from a big mug, reading a magazine. Listen to a Spotify playlist that puts you in a good mood. Stay in your PJs all day, bundled up in a fuzzy blanket. Whip up some tasty hot chocolate and watch a movie, sprawled on the couch. Sunday mornings can be as lazy as you want. Not doing anything from time to time is so therapeutic and provides happiness.  

Prenez le temps de ne rien faire ou presque. Traînez un dimanche matin en pyjama. Faites-vous un bon petit déjeuner et buvez une tasse d'expresso. Sirotez une tisane ou un thé en lisant un magazine. Écoutez une playlist Spotify qui vous met de bonne humeur. Restez en pyjama toute la journée, emmitouflée dans une couverture bien moelleuse. Préparez-vous un chocolat chaud et regardez un film, vautrée sur le canapé. Les dimanches matins peuvent être aussi détendus que vous voulez. Ne rien faire de temps en temps procure un vrai bonheur.

It's Not That Complicated

Certain outfits take seconds to plan. The fashion muses whispered in my ears as I stood pensive in front of my closet. I was in the mood for red, a color I don't wear often. I wore this jacket I took from my mom after our move, along with another vintage jacket. I love the cinched waist which is adjustable thanks to two strings on the sides. I'm wearing a shirt which I received for my birthday last year and my espadrilles, symbols of summer. 

Let's go girls, I'm sending you creative energy to think up killer outfits!

Il y a certaines tenues qui me viennent à l'esprit en quelques secondes. Les muses de la mode me soufflent de mots doux dans l'oreille quand je me tiens devant mon placard, réfléchissant. J'avais envie de rouge, couleur que je ne porte pas souvent. J'ai piqué deux vestes vintage de ma mère après notre déménagement, dont celle-ci. J'adore l'effet cintré qui est ajustable grâce aux cordelettes de chaque côté. Je porte un haut offert pour mon anniversaire l'année dernière et mes espadrilles, symbole de l'été.

Hippie pants and washable tattoos... I should have been invited to Coachella! I could have talked to bloggers, celebrities but most of all, I could have listened to good music, surrounded by flower crowns and illuminated ferris wheels. See you there next year!

Pantalon hippie et tatouages temporaires... j'aurais du être invité à Coachella! J'aurais pu parler aux blogueuses, les célébrités, mais surtout, écouter de la bonne musique, entourée de couronnes de fleurs, et de grandes roues illuminées. Rendez-vous l'année prochaine!

I completely changed the page for my blog on Tumblr! Everything is simpler and clean. Personally, I like white space when a website has a lot of pictures. What do you think of the new look?

J'ai aussi complètement changé ma page de blog sur Tumblr! Tout est beaucoup plus simple et épurée je trouve. Personnellement, j'aime avoir beaucoup de blanc quand il y a autant de photos sur un site. Que pensez-vous du nouveau look?

If only you could smell my perfume. Before heading out, this morning, I sprayed the perfume Roses by Chloé. The fragrance is the exact essence of spring: a bit strong and surprising yet also feminine and flowery. I found that my perfume today went well with the color palette in my outfit.

Si seulement vous pouviez sentir mon parfum. En sortant, ce matin, je me suis aspergée de parfum Roses de Chloé. L'odeur est l'incarnation exacte du printemps: un peu fort et surprenant mais féminin et fleuri. Je trouve que ma senteur aujourd'hui se mariait parfaitement à la palette de couleurs que j'ai choisie pour mon look.

Sun Kisses

The off white shawl my grandmother knit for my mom is so sophisticated. With a striped jersey, my outfit becomes chic, even though I'm wearing leggings!

There was beautiful light in the afternoon. It inundated the room, giving my skin a golden allure. I love sun spots on photographs and soft rays that traverse a picture. I am in desperate need of sun and light. I cannot wait for spring and the melting of snow!

L'étole blanc cassé que ma grand-mère a tricotée pour ma mère est tellement sophistiquée. Avec une marinière, mon look devient chic même si je porte un legging! 

Il y avait une très belle lumière cet après-midi. Elle inondait la chambre et donnait des reflets dorés à ma peau et mes bijoux. J'adore les taches de soleil sur les photos et les doux rayons qui coupent une image en deux. Je suis en cruel manque de soleil et de lumière. Vivement le printemps et la fonte des neiges!

Honest T

I wonder where exactly we're supposed to put all this snow that keeps falling, falling, falling forever. I've had enough of it. It ruins my plans and my family's. It cancels or slows everything down.

On the other hand, the snow tests my creativity when taking blog pictures. I can't take as many as I'd like because it is out of the questions to pose outside!! Thus, I take the cold as a challenge to take good pictures inside. It's harder than you think because the lighting isn't always as you want it.

What did you think of my interview with Audrey?

Je me demande bien où on est sensé mettre toute cette neige qui tombe, tombe, tombe à n'en plus en finir. Je suis excédée. Elle gâche beaucoup de mes sorties, et celles de ma famille. Elle retarde ou annule tout. 

Par contre, la neige teste ma créativité, question photos de blog. Je ne peux pas en prendre autant que je voudrais, car il est absolument hors de question de sortir pour poser dehors!! Du coup, je prends le froid comme un challenge pour faire de belles photos à l'intérieur. C'est plus dur que vous ne pensez, car la lumière n'est pas toujours comme on veut. 

Qu'avez-vous pensez de mon interview avec Audrey?

Sometimes, pouring out some tea, mid afternoon, makes everything better.

Mais parfois, il suffit de se verser un petit thé en milieu d'après-midi pour avoir tout comme on veut.
