This scarf is a godsend with these freezing Parisian temperatures. I feel like I've draped myself in my comforter or didn't get out of bed when I wear this pink scarf. It could be a shawl, a blanket or a beanie/scarf. There are endless possibilities with this stretch of pink fluff. 

Cette écharpe est une aubaine pour les températures glaciales à Paris. Quand je la porte, j'ai l'impression d'être emmitouflée dans une couette ou de ne pas avoir quitté mon lit. Elle pourrait faire châle, couverture ou bonnet/écharpe. Les possibilités ne manquent pas avec ce bout de tissu rose tout doux.

Cache-cœur

To adapt to January temperatures, I transformed this Fall look. Underneath my wrap shirt, I slipped on a gray thermal layer which I tucked into my jeans for maximum warmth. I rolled up my jeans, since it wasn't too cold, to show off my new sparkly gray socks. What do you think?

J'ai transformé ce look automnal pour qu'il s'adapte à la météo de janvier. Sous mon cache-cœur, j'ai enfilé un haut gris thermal que j'ai rentré dans mon pantalon pour garder le maximum de chaleur. Pour la petite touche mode, j'ai retroussé mon jean pour laisser apparaître mes nouvelles chaussettes grises à paillettes. Qu'en pensez-vous?

Sweat à capuche

Each time I wear my leather jacket, I love it a bit more. I was able to sneak a light puffy jacket underneath that kept me warm throughout the day, an ideal solution to hide a winter jacket, which isn't the chicest of coats. I still let the hood peek out since it looked like a sweatshirt. What do you think of my discrete little trick? 

Chaque fois que je porte mon perfecto, je l'apprécie un petit peu plus. J'ai pu y glisser dessous une doudoune extra fine pour me tenir bien chaud au cours de la journée, solution idéale pour cacher la doudoune, qui n'est pas le manteau le plus chic. J'ai quand même laissé dépasser la capuche pour donner l'illusion de porter un sweat. Que pensez-vous de ma petite astuce discrète?

Douce lumière

I'm back in Paris for the holidays. Follow my adventures on Instagram with #pmoftravels. It's lovely to be back since this summer. I'm going to stroll around finishing my Christmas shopping, find a summer PR internship, see my friends, spend quality time with my family, eat goat cheese and pastries. How are you going to spend your last days of 2016?

Je suis de retour à Paris pour les fêtes. Suivez mes aventures sur Instagram avec #pmoftravels. Ça fait du bien d'être de retour depuis cet été. Je vais me balader dans les rues en finissant mes courses pour Noël, chercher des stages dans le marketing pour cet été, voir mes amies, profiter de ma famille, manger des crottins de chavignols et des pâtisseries. Integrity

With time, I've realized how much I appreciate integrity and people who stay true to themselves, in their everyday lives and also in fashion. Of course, some people love wearing recent trends but I also like those who have a personal look. Some poeople have had the same style for ages but update it with trends. These two types of people know what they look good in and stick to it, regardless of what magazines say. You need to know how to be who you are: know what looks good on you, what makes you happy and what you want in life!

Avec le temps, je me rends compte que j'apprécie de plus en plus l'intégrité et aussi les personnes qui restent fidèles à elles-mêmes, que ce soit dans leur quotidien ou dans la mode. Bien sûr, certaines personnes adorent adopter les tendances les plus récentes, mais j'aime aussi celles qui ont un look bien personnel. Il y a celles qui portent le même style de vêtements depuis des années tout en le mettant au goût du jour. Ces deux types de personnes savent ce qui leur vont et s'y tiennent, en dépit des recommandations des magazines. Il faut savoir rester soi-même: savoir ce qui vous va, ce qui vous fait plaisir et ce que vous voulez dans la vie!

Turtleneck

I wonder why it's taken me this much time to wear a turtleneck. I used to dislike the scratchy wool against my neck but clearly, I hadn't found THE sweater. This one is soft. I like how loose it is and love its accessorized simplicity with the two zippers on either side. This past week, I haven't left my room without a scarf wrapped several times around my neck. I can't stand the wind making its way inbetween my neck and the collar of my coat. However, with turtleneck scarves, you never get that problem. Honestly, I don't know what took me so long.

Je me demande pourquoi ça m'a pris autant de temps d'adopter un pull à col roulé. Je n'aimais pas la laine qui me grattait le cou, mais bien évidemment, je n'avais pas encore trouvé LE pull. Celui-ci est tout doux. J'aime bien son apparence ample et minimaliste avec deux fermetures éclaires pour accessoiriser le tout. Depuis une petite semaine, je ne sors jamais sans grosse écharpe ou foulard enroulé plusieurs fois autour du cou. Je ne supporte pas le vent qui se faufile entre le col de mon manteau et mon cou. Or, avec les pulls à col roulé, on n'a pas ce problème. Franchement, je me demande pourquoi je ne m'y suis pas mise plus tôt.

Simple is How I Like It

I'm loving the uniform I've been wearing currently: a sweater knit by my grandmother, pants and my leather jacket. This trio works wonderfully. I don't think about my outfit in the morning and anyways, why change something that works so well? I open my drawer filled with my sweaters from my grandmother and pick one at random. They're so soft and remind me of lovely memories. 

En ce moment, je ne me lasse pas de mes ensembles: pull tricoté par ma Mamie, pantalon et perfecto. Ce trio marche à merveille. Je ne me pose pas de questions en m'habillant le matin et de toute façon, on ne change pas une équipe qui gagne. J'ouvre mon tiroir rempli de pulls de ma grand-mère et j'en choisi un à l'aveuglette. Ils sont tout doux et me rappellent de bons souvenirs.

My hair was particularly curly today for some unknown reason. I never had to use texturizing those beach hair sprays. My hair naturally curls. If I don't do something about it after I shower, I'll end up with little ringlets here and there. What kind of hair do you have?

Pour je ne sais quelle raison, mes cheveux étaient très bouclés aujourd'hui. Je n'ai jamais eu besoin d'utiliser de sprays texturisant à l'eau salée. Mes cheveux se bouclent légèrement naturellement. Si je n'y touche pas après une douche, j'ai une petite poignée de bouclettes. Quelle nature de cheveux avez-vous?

Relax & Repeat

I had was quite a relaxing and fun weekend. Here's a casual look for today. I wore this new vest, perfect for spring weather, in the fall. The weather here is so mild which makes it tough to decide what to wear. This windbreaker will be perfect for Thanksgiving break beach walks... if the weather holds up.

C'était un week-end très relaxant et sympa. Voici un petit look assez décontracté pour aujourd'hui. J'ai porté ma nouvelle veste printanière, en automne. La météo est tellement clémente que j'ai du mal à décider quoi mettre. Ce coupe-vent sera parfait pour marcher à la plage pendant les vacances de Thanksgiving... s'il fait toujours aussi doux dans une semaine.

Goodbye, Lokai

It's the end of an era. You'll never see my Lokai bracelet again around my wrist. I wore it all of last summer. This summer, I decided to bring it out again and inaugurate it as my summer bracelet. It was around my wrist all throughout the Alps, in Nantes, in Paris and Saratoga Springs. That's where I left it, around a little girl's wrist who loved it. I'd let her wear it each day because she liked it so much and when I left, I didn't notice it was still on her. My boyfriend gave me his and I wore it until today. I kept it on well after the end of summer to remember those wonderful months. I felt something snap getting changed into my workout clothes today and my bracelet fell to the floor. Maybe it was a message telling me summer was well over? What do you think?

C'est la fin d'une époque. Vous n'allez plus voir mon bracelet Lokai à mon poignet. Je l'avais porté tout l'été dernier. Cet été, je m'étais décidée à le remettre et à l'inaugurer comme mon bracelet estival. Il entourait mon poignet dans les Alpes, à Nantes, à Paris et à Saratoga Springs. C'est là aussi où je l'ai oublié, autour du poignent d'une petite fille qui l'admirait. Chaque jour, je la laissais le mettre et finalement, sans m'en rendre compte, je suis partie sans. Mon copain m'a donné le sien que j'ai porté jusqu'à aujourd'hui. Bien après l'été, pour faire durer les bons souvenirs, j'ai continué de porter ce bracelet. Cependant, en me changeant pour aller au sport ce matin, j'ai senti mon bracelet éclater et tomber parterre. Peut-être était-ce un signe du destin pour me dire que l'été était bel et bien fini? Qu'en pensez-vous?

Lizard Green

What's my favorite part about the Tour de France? The gadgets thrown from the cars and of course, watching the race, once that's over. I got this childish but funny washable tattoo from a well-decorated car. I strolled through Albertville, in the Alps, wearing the polka-dot hat for best climber. The procession before the pack arrives is mesmerizing and enjoyable. It was only the second time, in a while, that I saw the Tour de France. You have to see it at least once in your life.

Qu'est-ce que je préfère dans le Tour de France? Les gadgets lancés par les caravanes, sans compter regarder passer les cyclistes. Ce petit tatouage, enfantin certes, mais rigolo, m'a été lancé depuis une voiture bien décorée. J'ai pu me pavaner à Albertville, dans les Alpes, avec ma casquette de meilleur grimpeur. Le spectacle avant l'arrivé du peloton est très sympa. Ce n'était que la deuxième année depuis longtemps que j'ai vu passer le Tour de France. L'atmosphère bonne enfant est à expérimenter au moins une fois dans sa vie.

Countryside

The countryside is for walking through wheat fields, admiring sunflowers, morning runs on the long stretches of road, biking during sunsets, picking red currants in the garden for lunch’s dessert and especially, not doing too too much.

La campagne, c’est pour se balader dans les champs de blé, admirer les tournesols, courir le matin sur la route solitaire, faire du vélo au coucher du soleil, cueillir des groseilles dans le jardin pour le dessert du midi et surtout, surtout, ne pas trop faire.
