DIY Bleached Converse

I was talking to you about the projects I was able to realize thanks to Pinterest. Here's what I am most proud of: my "new" Converse. They were navy blue before they became light pink (see picture below). Follow the instructions below to transform your shoes if you want something new!

* It took me about a two days from start to finish (when the shoes were dry) *

- Wash your shoes
- Fill a basin of warm water so it covers your shoes
- Poor the desired quantity of bleach into the basin and swish it around. The more you add, the lighter your shoes will get (I emptied out the bottle since there wasn't much left).
- Let them soak and check on them every hour or so until you are satisfied with the color.

- Nettoyez vos chaussures

- Let your shoes dry outside. With time, the color will fade or change completely. The picture above shows my wet shoes. Notice the difference between that and the finished product.
