Everything Comes Back Around

Forever 21 blazer & necklace, Capezio leotard, Meg Erickson clutch, Franco Sarto shoes, Moa earrings, Jennyfer and H&M rings, Choies sunglasses, handmade skirt

I wore this outfit to my friend Miki's graduation. I hope you have as good of a friend as she. Find a girl who makes you laugh at nothing, makes you cry from happiness, teaches you wisdom and also gives you her own. She shares unforgettable moments with you, simple or extravagant ones. You feel as though she's seen it all because she's older than you and fascinates you without fail. She's always there to give you a hug, support you when necessary but she knows when to leave you alone to become your true self.

Goodbye & Hello: The New Petite Maison of Fashion

After many wonderful years together as fashion bloggers, Miki and I are splitting up. Don't worry, we're still best friends! As of now, I am in charge of Petite Maison of Fashion. From now on, I will be the sole blogger on Petite Maison of Fashion.

That said, I'd like to thank Miki from the bottom of my heart! It's thanks to her that we started this blog. It's her beautiful photos that filled our blog up. She is a wonderful friend, model, stylist, artist and blogger. She always makes me laugh when we're taking pictures, she knows when to say something doesn't look good in an outfit and knows how to live by spreading sunshine around for others to have.

I'm so happy to show you the new layout for Petite Maison of Fashion. You could say the blog has gotten a huge makeover. Let me give you a tour.

First off, admire the clean layout.

You can find new pages too. For example, here's my new about page (particularly proud about it) and also a sponsor page. Categories will be coming soon!

I love the new profile picture I made because I find that the text adds a bit of information I found lacking from the old blog design. The rest is simple, yet I tried to keep it chic.

What do you think?

Hopefully, you'll keep following me and leaving the sweetest comments you always find time to write.

Après de belles années ensemble en tant que blogueuses mode, Miki et moi nous séparons. Ne vous inquiétez pas, nous sommes encore des amies inséparables! Désormais, Petite Maison of Fashion m'appartient.

The Big One Six

Dear fellow human beings,
Let me tell you a thing or two about my dear friend Emma:
A thing: she's awesome
or two: today's her birthday (yes I know a shocking development she's reached double digits)

ANYWAY Here is my little tribute post to my absolute greatest friend in the world:

Dear Emma,
You are amazing. I swear it's a fact everyone agrees upon (like the fact that saltwater tastes gross or horses have four legs). No matter how down I am or how little sleep I've gotten you make everything seem like it couldn't be better. You make me laugh harder than I've ever laughed, yes, you've made me even pee in my favorite pants. I don't know how I'd make it through the day without you and I can't thank you enough for being so wonderful to me.
Emma, you've helped me through the hardest days, and these past months of sadness. But they don't seem hard or sad when I'm with you. You are like a little sun traveling through my dark little universe. You dance on down the milky way, leaving a trail of sparkles and happiness (and some cute cats). Yet you also know when I just want a hug, and want to be held. I don't even need to say a word, you just spread your arms and hold me like a mama bird with her baby under her wing. Then when you know its time you lift the wing, shake out some glitter and the hug turns into a dance party!
Did I mention you are more beautiful than a rainbow unicorn? Your blonde mane and stallion-like posture make you a warrior on the battlefield of beauty; a battle you always win. I feel short standing next to you, like a miniature pony, and I always know dem stallions will come galloping to you.
(okay enough with these metaphors, I can barely understand my own words....)
What I'm trying to say Emma; is that you are my stars, my moon, my sun, my universe, my closest friend, my comedian, and my world. Technically Emma I love you so much, and I will never be able to thank you enough for being alive and being the greatest friend one could have.
Love love love,
Miki
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR EMMA, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
HAPPY BIRFDAYS POO YU, HAPPY LURFDAY EEWW YOU, TAPPY PERFDAY DEER AMME, PRAPY CEPLERFDAY BOO POO

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY SECOND HALF
~Miki

Ps: comment your favorite thing about Emma and I'll send you so many over computer air hugs you will believe I have mistaken you for a warm adorable puppy

Pps: I know we don't smile, it's becoming quite a problem

Burning Bridges

Hello My Beautiful Bloggers,
I know it's been a while :( but I've been in Canada for the past two weeks (post on its way).
I was there to visit some colleges and ski my ass off. It was freezing and lacking in wifi so of course departing from the blog was hard.
Anyway that is beside my current point because as some of you may know, here in MA, spring is finally on its way. The snow has said its goodbyes and the sun reaches its yellow fingers once more to the ground. I seriously doubt I have ever been more excited for spring and summer!

On Burning Bridges:
Friends are people we hold close to our hearts in indescribable ways. As Elbert Hubbard once said "A friend is someone who knows all about you and still loves you." But sometimes people change, and yes of course we all change. Maybe its a small slow change, or a fast big change. It's not a materialistic change but maybe an outlook or a lifestyle; but we all change even if we don't want to. That's what people do. But sometimes change can push people away or you change in a way not everyone can be happy with. And that too is okay. Sometimes you grow apart, like a stretched bridge the emotions cannot always cross and thus the bridge will break. Mend the bridge, if you can. But if the bridge has slowly rotted to a place beyond repair maybe it's okay to let it fall. See where it takes you, maybe some new bridges, some new adventures. Burning bridges happen and the fire department doesn't always make it but thats okay it'll open up new roads and make new bridges.

Stay Warm!
