So Emma and I got to model the other day for Meg Erickson (thus the multiple posts on her amazing bags). Since we've already done some posts on them I won't describe them again but I so so so so recommend checking her out here!! 

These photos are for her bags for the spring collection just so you know :) 

First Few Tips For Modeling:

1) It may feel awkward but it looks great on camera. 

2) Never look fully down or up or to the side. Always think in fourths. 1/4 to the side, up, down, etc.

3) Make sure your background works, little things are noticeable in photos.  

4) Relating to three, be a blank canvas when you start a shoot. Clothes, makeup, shoes, those are your paint. 

5) Have fun, you'll look better :)

Be My Valentine?

We all either complain or brag on Valentines day, so here comes the extremely long post about Valentine's day. One half "OMG Valentine's day" the other half "Why does this day exist?".

So you have a date? A boyfriend? A love? A lover? Then boom do all that cute stuff you see in the movies. While yes many will argue that "it's just another day and if you truly love each other, this day should be no different than any other" you can still pretend this day is special. Valentines Day gives you an EXCUSE to ask someone out or to do something daring.

  

Also if you are planning on buying roses try referring to this website for extreme dedication (101 roses may be a bit much just putting that out there).

Now the whole other side of Valentines day is where I reside. I don't have a date but this is how I feel when my friends tell me all about their plans:
 

No, but really I don't mind valentines day. For me it's just another day of the week where I nearly get trampled by love birds and pink in the atmosphere. Don't get me wrong dates are cute and can be adorable on Valentines Day but in reality this is me at all times  --->>>


 Anyway for anyone out there without any plans watch a movie (action is always a good call); hang out with your friends; be lazy; EAT CHOCOLATE (the best thing to do any day).

Dyed to Perfection

I have always admired women who dyed their hair and it looked good. All of those women who decide to dye their hair an unnatural color knowing that it might not work. I've never thought of dyeing my hair  because I've always been too scared that it wouldn't look good, or the colors would change. People always say "hair is hair" and "hair grows back" but it's easier said than done. For those of you who have already taken the plunge, or are thinking of it, here are some pictures that I find beautiful!

J'ai toujours admiré les femmes qui se teignent les cheveux quand c'est bien fait: toutes ces femmes qui ont décidé de se teindre les cheveux, dans une couleur qui n'était pas naturelle, sachant que la résultat risquait d'être décevant. Je n'ai jamais pensé à me teindre les cheveux parce que j'ai toujours eu trop peur du résultat; et si c'était laid ou si les couleurs changeaient. Les personnes disent toujours que "les cheveux, c'est les cheveux" ou que "les cheveux repoussent" mais c'est plus facile à dire qu'à faire. Pour toutes celles qui ont déjà osé se teindre les cheveux ou qui y pensent, voici quelques photos que je trouve belles.

I think I can safely say that many people like getting good quality free things?! Right? I just recently made a trip to Aerie and Pink and was rewarded with "free" things.

I have been a die hard subscriber to Seventeen and TeenVogue magazines for a while and I haven't been disappointed. I subscribed to TeenVogue for a two year subscription and received a small bag that is really cute but looked bigger on the picture.
Je me suis abonnée à Seventeen et TeenVogue depuis longtemps et je n'ai pas été déçu. Je me suis abonnée à TeenVogue pour deux ans et j'ai reçu un petit sac qui est très joli, mais avait l'air plus grand sur les photos.

In the front of Seventeen magazine, they have a calendar with a free item that you could have to chance of winning. You need to have an account online, and enter the code word found in the calendar everyday to try and win an item. I have won once and the quality was ok.
Dans le magazine Seventeen il y a un calendrier avec des objets qu'on peut gagner gratuitement. Il faut avoir un compte en ligne et enter le code du jour pour essayer de gagner. J'ai gagné une fois et la qualité était correcte.

I also just recently found this website and just like Seventeen you need to create an account. I haven't won but the prizes look very good. Of course, you need to understand that there are many other girls out there who enter these contests so the chances are of course slim. Hope you win!

Je viens aussi de trouver ce site et comme Seventeen il faut aussi créer un compte. Je n'ai pas encore gagné, mais les prix ont l'air bien. Évidemment, il faut comprendre qu'il y a plein d'autres filles qui s'inscrivent et les chances de gagner sont petites. J'espère que vous allez gagner!
