Embarcadero

I made a friend on the Embarcadero.

A big seagull, fed by the tourists.

He wasn't scared of me.

Kindly, he posed for the photos.

A celebrity, I tell you.

And came along a tourist with a pink sweatshirt, matching her gum.

She wanted to him approach too much.

He flew away, leaving a feather behind.

"Arrivederci".

Je me suis fait un ami sur l'Embarcadero.

Un gros oiseau, nourri par les touristes. 

Il n'avait pas peur de moi. 

Gentiment, il a posé pour les photos. 

Une vrai star, je vous dis.

Et vint une touriste au sweatshirt rose, assorti à son chewing-gum.

Elle voulut trop s'en approcher.

Il s'envola, laissant une plume derrière lui.

"Arrivederci".

The Unthinkable

Traveling can sometimes make you compromise (no, you can't fit you're entire closet in one suitcase) and forces you to think out of the box. For example, I would have never thought of wearing this top with these pants. On a cool and foggy morning, San Francisco style, I was desperately looking at my half of the suitcase (I share one with my brother). I simply took these pants, something I've now done everyday since the weather in San Francisco is always the same (chilly because of the constant wind from the bay), and this orange shirt. I'm very happy with the result. I like the flowy side to this look. I'll do this again!

Voyager vous incite parfois à faire des compromis (non, on ne peut pas faire rentrer tout son placard dans une valise) et vous forcer à penser autrement. Par exemple, je n'aurais jamais pensé à porter ce haut avec ce pantalon. Un beau matin, frais et brumeux à la San Franciscaine, je regardais désespérément ma moitié de la valise (que je partage avec mon frère). J'ai simplement pris ce pantalon, geste que je fais maintenant tous les matins vue que la météo à San Francisco est toujours pareille (froid à cause du vent) et ce haut orange. Je suis très contente du rendu. J'aime bien le coté ample de ce look. À refaire!

Military Backpack

I bought a new backpack for my class trip to France! Unfortunately, I lost the link. It's just a simple military backpack with millions of pockets and zippers. I absolutely love it. We'll see how it works out on the trip. Similar ones can be found online.

J'ai acheté un nouveau sac à dos pour mon voyage de classe en France! Malheureusement, j'ai perdu le lien. C'est juste un simple sac à dos militaire avec des millions de pochettes et de fermetures à éclaires. Je l'aime beaucoup. On verra comment il sera une fois le voyage terminé. Des sacs comme celui-ci peuvent se trouver partout en ligne.
