There are many things going on in my life right now - good and bad. C'est la vie. Sometimes, everything seems too overwhelming. However, there's always a happy song to listen to or a funny video to boost your level of courage.

I've recently been watching a lot of Amie Schumer's stand up comedy clips. I laugh easily when listening to them. Have you heard about her?

What makes you laugh and smile?

Il y a beaucoup de choses qui se passent en ce moment - de bonnes et de mauvaises. C'est la vie. Des fois, tout semble être trop difficile à accomplir. Par contre, il y a toujours une chanson bonne mine ou une vidéo drôle à regarder pour se redonner du courage. 

Récemment, j'adore regarder les clips d'Amie Schumer, une comédienne américaine. Je ris facilement en l'écoutant. La connaissez-vous?

When I wash my hair late at night then let it air dry, I'll wake up in the morning with curls. I become a star from the old Hollywood, parading her chic blonde curly bob around the studios. Who doesn't feel chic with a t-shirt that reads "Vogue"? Well I do. I feel terribly classy sporting my alien-like sunglasses that hide my face, perfectly manicured nails and curls framing my face. Do you?

Quand je me lave les cheveux tard le soir et les laisse sécher à l'air libre, le lendemain matin, ils sont bouclés. Je deviens une star d'Hollywood des années 50s au carré de boucles blondes glamour. Qui ne se sent pas glamour avec un t-shirt qui dit "Vogue"? Et bien moi. Je me sens terriblement classe avec mes lunettes bizarroïdes qui cachent mes yeux, mes ongles parfaitement manucurés et mes boucles qui encadrent mon visage. Pas vous?

Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows

When it rains for a couple consecutive days, my creativity diminishes day by day. There's no real "spring" here. Either it rains, or it's warm and humid in April and May. To be inspired, the weather has to cooperate with my outfit ideas.

I'm wearing a black and white look with a touch of pink to have a bright complexion and put me in a good mood. When I wear my long black rain coat and rain-boots, they're black too, there's not much left that shows. For me, it's important to try and add sunshine to a rainy day with my color accents!

Quand il pleut pendant des jours consécutifs, ma créativité diminue au jour le jour. Il n'y a pas vraiment de "printemps" ici. Soit il pleut, soit il fait chaud et humide en avril et mai. Pour être inspirée, il faut que la météo coopère avec mes idées de tenues.

Je porte un look noir et blanc avec une touche de rose pour me donner bonne mine et me mettre de bonne humeur. Quand je porte mon long imperméable noir et mes bottes de pluies, noir aussi, il n'y a pas beaucoup qui dépasse. Pour moi, il est important d'égayer une journée pluvieuse avec des notes de couleurs!

Do you like the sign that's sticking out of my head in this picture? :)

The weather is so nice in Paris that it practically feels like the perfect spring. The only problem I had today, while wearing this beautiful skirt, was the wind. Every time I climbed up metro station staircases, I'd hold a corner of my skirt for fear of it gracelessly lifting itself up. I hope that wherever you are, the sky is as blue and the weather is just as sunny.

Il fait super bon à Paris. C'est vraiment le printemps parfait. Le seule problème que j'avais aujourd'hui en portant cette belle jupe c'était le vent. Chaque fois que je montais les escaliers du métro, je devais faire bien attention de tenir le bas de ma jupe de peur quelle ne remonte disgracieusement! J'espère que, où que vous soyez, il fait aussi beau qu'ici avec un magnifique ciel bleu!

Skirts and Ladders

I had never been to Freeport, Maine before a couple weeks ago. This wonderful skater skirt was found at the Pacsun Outlet for such a great price. Remember my obsession with them? Well, it hasn't gone away. Patience is everything, and it was worth a year of agony (I might be exaggerating just a bit) to stumble up this little masterpiece!

Il y a quelques semaines, je n'étais encore jamais allée à Freeport, Maine. J'ai trouvé cette jupe patineuse à Pacsun Outlet à un très bon prix. Vous vous souvenez de cette obsession? Elle n'a pas été remplacée par une autre. La patience est très importante, ça valait une année de douleur atroce (j'exagère un peu) pour enfin tomber sur cette pièce rare!
