Moving... what can I say? It takes time, organization and effort. I've never seen as many empty and full boxes. I've never driven back and forth between two houses this much. I've never been this nostalgic.

Aside from that, I've discovered some white walls to take great pictures in front of after moving shelves, beds and desks.

Have you ever moved before?

Déménager... que dire? Ça prend du temps, de l'organisation et de l'effort. Je n'ai jamais vu autant de boites en cartons vides et remplies. Je n'ai jamais fait autant d'aller-retours entre deux maisons de toute ma vie. Je n'ai jamais été aussi nostalgique.

Ceci mis à part, on découvre beaucoup de murs blancs pour prendre de belles photos quand on déménage étagères, lits et bureaux.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, Emma, specialist in html code. I spent one hour creating a Google Analytics account for Her Campus website. I then made a badge for the blog and spent the rest of the time figuring out how to make a red Pinterest button appear when you hover over blog photos. My eyes are tired from staring at the computer screen. I'm leaving with hope that you appreciate my herculean efforts!

Mesdames et messieurs, je vous présente Emma, spécialiste en code html. J'ai passé une heure à me créer un compte Google Analytics pour le site Her Campus. J'ai ensuite créé un badge et j'ai passé le reste du temps à faire en sorte qu'un petit bouton rouge de Pinterest apparaisse sur toutes les photos du blog. J'en suis très fière. Winter Flowers

There are some winter days that remind me why I like this season. During the summer, I dream of sweaters, chunky knits, warm boots, socks and colorful beanies. I create an idyllic image of winter, worthy of Pinterest and a closet full of clothes that I can't get my hands on. I fantasize about the perfect temperature, forgetting the wind whipping my cheeks and chapped hands from the cold. I forget about all the layers I need to wear when it's 2°F outside and how frozen I feel on my walk to school. When these photos were taken, the temperature was ideal. It's these kinds of days that remind me that winter can be a beautiful season filled with sunsets!

Il y a des jours en hiver qui me rappellent pourquoi j'aime cette saison. En été, je rêve de pulls douillets, de gilets à grosses mailles tricotés, de bottes et chaussettes chaudes et de bonnets colorés.  Je me crée l'image d'un hiver idyllique digne de Pinterest et d'un placard contenant des vêtements que je ne pourrais pas me procurer maintenant. Je fantasme sur la température idéale, oubliant le vent qui me fouette les joues et les mains endolories par le froid. J'oublie le fait que je porterai les mêmes bottes fourrées tous les jours et le verglas qui recouvre les routes. J'oublie toutes les épaisseurs que je dois porter les jours où il fait -16°C et combien je me gèle en marchant à l'école. Quand ces photos ont été prises, la température était parfaite. Ce sont ces jours-là qui me rappellent que l'hiver peut-être une belle saison avec de beaux couchers de soleil!

It's no surprise that I came across that quote (the title) on Pinterest. I really like it, it's so true. I guess it kind of applies to my wearing a skirt in October. If you don't follow me, the problem is yours. I'm perfectly fine with wearing a skirt, weather permitting. If you do it, pick a good day and don't get hypothermia. Quick, it's getting colder.

Je ne vous surprend pas si je dis que j'ai trouvé cette citation (le titre) sur Pinterest. Je l'aime bien, elle est tellement vraie. Je trouve qu'elle va bien avec le fait que je porte une jupe en octobre. Si vous ne me suivez pas, le problème est le vôtre. Je suis tout à fait alaise d'en porter, quand la météo est clémente. Si vous voulez porter une jupe, choisissez un jour quand il fait beau et n'attrapé pas l'hypothermie. Dépêchez  il fait de plus en plus froid!

Girls' Night

This look is what I wore to my friend Emma's surprise birthday party on Saturday. It was so fun and great to see my friends after a long summer. We had dinner at Burton's Grill. The night was spent with loads of laughter and every now and then exclamations about how long it had been! Hope you like it!

J'ai porté ce look pour aller à la fête d'anniversaire surprise pour mon amie Emma samedi. C'était super et tellement bien de revoir mes amies après cet été. Nous avons dîné à Burton's Grill. On n'arrêtait pas de rigolé toute la nuit et de dire que ça faisait trop longtemps qu'on ne s'étaient pas vues. J'espère que vous aimez!

Today was a bit chilly and I wasn't in the mood for pants. I haven't worn this skirt since my family trip to Bali last summer. It was collecting dust in my closet, why not?
Il faisait un peu frais aujourd'hui et je n'étais pas d'humeur à porter de pantalon. Je n'ai pas mis cette jupe depuis mon voyage à Bali en famille l'été dernier. Elle était en train de ramasser toute la poussière dans mon placard, pourquoi pas?
