October Style Challenge with Weddington Way

It has been quite a while since one of these Polyvore type posts (about a year). The reason why this popped back up is because of Alex, from Weddington Way. He invited us to take part in the October Style Challenge held by the bridesmaid dress company.

 If you were the Maid of Honor and the bride asked you to help her style the look for her big day, what would you suggest?

Ça fait longtemps (à peu près un an) que je n'ai pas fais un de ces articles style Polyvore. J'en ai créé un parce qu'Alex, de chez Weddington Way, nous a contacté. Il nous a invité à faire partie de son concours de mode du mois d'octobre. Le concours est sponsorisé par Weddington Way, une compagnie de robes de demoiselles d'honneur. 

Si vous étiez une demoiselle d'honneur et la mariée vous avait demandé d'aider à choisir une tenue pour le grand jour, à quoi ressemblerait les tenues?

Mist

Summer is disappearing, slowly but surly it has fully reached its end. Fall is curling its fingers around our summer clothes and the sweaters seem to become a part of us by now. I miss the days when I didn't have homework and morning runs didn't need gloves and hats. The ocean water is warmer than the air in the evening and leaves have become the new carpet on my front lawn. 

So here is a small tribute post to you, summer. Taken on a misty morning on a beach with higher temperatures than my hopes on a cold night.

I absolutely adore this dress. The way it flows in the wind and the colors when in movement are simply magnificent. The light material is easy for warm weather but paired with sheer tights and a loose sweater the dress is perfect for those chillier days. Free People has some great dresses that are easy to create outfits with and are great for many body shapes. My body is very loooong and square (I don't have a single curve I swear) and their dresses create awesome lines that gives everything a sense of being curvier and just more awesome. 

Fly like a bird my young ones!

I stumbled up on this song recently. I don't know how I've managed without it for so long.

Récemment, je suis tombée sur cette chanson. Je ne sais pas comment j'ai pu écouter d'autres chansons sans savoir que celle-ci existait!

My mother is adorable. Sometime last week, I had an incredibly tiring night. I got home, exhausted from soccer practice and my ballet class, yet still had to do physics and humanities homework. The next day, my mom went grocery shopping with a little detour to the mall to buy me this vest. Of course, I don't expect such a sweet gesture every time I have a lot of homework. Otherwise, I'd have about one hundred vests.

Ma mère est adorable. J'ai passé une nuit épuisante la semaine dernière. Rentrant, fatiguée de mon entrainement de foot et mon cours de danse, j'avais encore de la physique et des humanités à faire. Le lendemain, ma mère est allée faire des courses en faisant un petit détour par le centre commercial pour m'acheter cette veste. Bien évidemment, je ne m'attends pas à un tel geste chaque fois que j'ai trop de devoirs, sinon, j'aurais facilement cent vestes.
