From time to time, I forget the sensation of a pen on fresh paper or the sound of a pencil sharpener. I forget the benefits of an afternoon spent without a phone. With the popularity of podcasts, everyone thinks they're stimulated and creative. There's mental creativity and artistic creativity. I'm talking about the latter.
The weather has been crazy these last few weeks. I spent too much time inside for Spring. Since there was no other possibility, I decided to take out my old magazines and make some mood boards, collages and to add to my bullet journal. When it was nice out, I went outside to draw and read under the sun. All of this artistic and concrete activity was like a breath of fresh air, more than any podcast or meditation session could have given me. I highly recommend doing something with your hands. Take the time to work your creativity, your imagination! To motivate you, I added a couple of simple projects I finished during these past weeks.

De temps en temps, j'oublie la sensation que procure un stylo sur une page toute fraîche ou le bruit d'un taille-crayon. J'oublie le bienfait d'un après-midi sans téléphone. Puisqu'il n'y avait pas d'autre possibilité, j'ai décidé de sortir mes vieux magazines et faire quelques mood boards, des collages et de peaufiner mon bullet journal. Quand il a fait beau, je suis sortie pour dessiner et lire au soleil. Toute cette activitée artistique et concrète m'a fait l'effet d'une bouffée d'oxygène, plus que n'importe quel podcast ou séance de méditation.
