In case you might have forgotten... it's almost Christmas! Maybe you're stressed like me because there are a couple more presents to make/buy/? Don't forget to spend time with your family and friends. It's mandatory to listen to Christmas music, eat chocolate and gingerbread cookies and of course, have the Christmas spirit. If you don't celebrate Christmas, Happy Holidays!!

Au cas où vous l'auriez oublié... c'est bientôt Noël! Peut-être êtes vous stressées comme moi parce qu'il y a quelques cadeaux à faire/acheter? N'oubliez pas de passer du temps en famille et avec vos amies. Il faut absolument écouter de la musique de Noël, manger du chocolat et des gâteaux et bien sûr, avoir l'esprit de Noël! Si vous ne fêtez pas Noël, bonnes fêtes!!

Christmas Tree Santas

About a week ago, I helped my friend, Emma, with her dad's charity called Christmas Tree Santas. It was an unforgettable experience. I felt very useful. I could see the immediate effect of my actions. It was very heartwarming.

The non-profit organization gives a Christmas tree to each family that can't afford to buy one on their own. They then pick a bag filled with lights and ornaments. Finally, the families can pick decorations to bring home. They're either given by families or made by children who donate them to the organization.

The weather was awful but nothing stopped my friends, Emma, Ellie and I from handing out ornaments and holiday cookies. Happy Holidays.

Il y a à peu près une semaine, j'ai aidé mon amie, Emma, avec l'association caritative de son père, Christmas Tree Santas. C'était une experience inoubliable. Je me suis sentie utile. Je voyais l'effet immédiat de mes actions. Ça m'a fait chaud au cœur.

L'association offre un sapin de Noël à toutes les familles qui ne peuvent pas se permettre d'en acheter un. Ils reçoivent un sac rempli de boules, de guirlandes de lumières et d'ornements. Ensuite, les familles peuvent choisir des décorations qui ont été données par des particuliers et leurs enfants qui souhaitaient s'en débarrasser ou qui en ont fabriqués pour l'événement.

La météo était mauvaise mais rien n'a empêché mes amies, Emma, Ellie et moi de distribuer des sacs d'ornements et des gateaux festifs. Joyeuses fêtes!

I hope you like my dog that was alarmed by my camera 

I hope your tree was decked in holiday cheer the way you like it

I hope your table was filled with foods you love to eat

And more food because well everyone loves food

Yup you guessed it...MORE FOOD!

Don't let the homework catch up with you too quickly...keep running with that procrastination 

I hope your family is able to come together and celebrate

Be happy, and have a merry merry christmas (or a wonderful day if you celebrate something else!)
