Reflections

There was a beautiful sun the day we took these pictures. Walking around the frozen snow-covered lake was a perfect excuse to take a break from studying. I love the blue-ish winter light. Not only does it beautifully reflect off of the snow but it also warms you up when the temperatures are this cold. Since I was decked out in black from head to toe, my clothes absorbed all of the sun's rays, keeping me toasty. 

Il y avait un soleil radieux ce jour-là, parfait pour faire une pause de mes études. J'ai marché autour du lac gelé et couvert de neige. J'adore la lumière bleutée l'hiver. Non seulement elle se reflète magnifiquement sur la neige, mais elle réchauffe quand les températures sont si basses. Comme je portais que du noir, mes vêtements absorbaient les rayons de soleil ce qui était très agréable.
